A Couple of Things

Okay so here is proof that we DO give her tummy time!

We just bought her a booster seat for when she starts solids. Oh my God! Our baby is going to start solids in a month and a half!

And the last thing....duh duh duh duuuuuuhhh....... SHE TOOK THE BOTTLE! Daddy gave it to her and she took it within 10 seconds. My gyno recommended this brand to us (after trying 3 different bottles and five different nipples) it seems likes she MIGHT actually like this one!

This weekend we enjoyed the 83 degree weather and went out. Maeve loved the bay!

It's Getting Warmer!

Now that it is getting warmer, just wait! We have so many new clothes that Maeve is going to look fabulous in! This one is from Sue Bolster and her mom. Thanks guys! This weekend is supposed to be over 80 degrees! Wait until you see her outfits then. :)

4 Months already!

Maeve turned four months old already. Gosh, where has the time gone? Here are some stats we got from the doctors visit today!

Weight- 14.3 (although she thinks it was off because her legs were long enough to rest on the wall)
50th percentile
Height- 24 and a quarter inches
50th percentile
Head Circumference 41 centimeters
50th percentile

So she is a very average baby! We asked all of the normal questions- like is she teething, should we start solids, how does her head look, she spits up now like crazy...could this be reflux, is she eating too often, how much should she sleep during the day..etc! The poor doctor was with us for over thirty minutes! Here are her answers: No, she is not teething yet, just exploring things with her mouth. Breastfed babies should not start solids until six months at least. Her head looks great...woo-hoo! Every child has some bit of spitting up, as long as she is eating and gaining weight, it is not a problem. She is cluster feeding so she can sleep through the night. Most breastfed babies won't sleep as long as our Maeve- she called us very lucky! She thought Maeve looked great although she did tell us to give her more tummy time. :( Our bad.

On a totally different note:
My principal (Shout out to my friend Sue!) is taking the school laptop back (understandably). So I was like....oh my God, how am I going to blog? So Kenyon and I marched right over to Apple and got me my very own laptop! Yea for Kenyon! Yea for me! So, I will need to upload some pictures on this puppy soon so you guys don't have to read what I have to say! How boring. Who wants to hear me talk when you can just look at our beautiful little girl! Four month pictures to come!
